Capt. Charles Bujan's speciality is drift fishing and sight casting for Redfish in the flats around Port Aransas. YOU WANT EXCITING FISHING-THIS IS IT!!! If you don't already know how, Capt. Bujan will teach you how to sight redfish, cast to them, and retrieve for the strike. We drift fish and anchor up depending on the conditions. RECENT CONDITIONS: 1/28/08 Weather conditions are improved and with it fishing for redfish and even a few trout. Example of the improved conditions, on 2/2/08 with sun out and warming waters , 3 people - 9 Redfish. March has been excellent for redfish, sheepshead. Today 3/26 we caught our limit of redfish plus some very nice trout. Trout are starting to show up on the flats. 4/08 SPRING Fishing has been very good! Capt. Charles Bujan is licensed by the United States Coast Guard and the State of Texas. He was born and raised in Port Aransas.His family was one of the first families to settle onMustang Island in the late 1800's. His Grandfather, Father and Uncles were all boatmen and fishermen. His 21' 2008 Dargel Tunnel Boat, powered by a 150 h.p. YAMAHAengine with jackplate, is built to get into those areas not easily accessible to other boats. This boat has a CANOPY FOR SHADE and is built for the shallow water fishing that Capt. Bujan does and has plenty of open space to do just that.
